4th Generation Need opinion

Ok, long story short my oil pan is leaking and to get to it, I had to take off the flex pipe. in the process a few days ago I broke one of the studs when I was tightening 1 of the 2 that I loosened after I changed my mind.
Fast forwarding I got 3 new studs, locking nuts and an exhaust pipe washer. well to get the flex pipe down I had to take off two brackets but when I loosened the second hanger I guess I put too much pressure on the threaded part on one of the screws and it disappeared inside I think its the cross member? How critical is it? or is it even fixable? I took a diagram of it to help visualize. I'll take pics tomorrow of it to help you guys get an idea of the issue. If its fine I won't worry about it just looking for advice

thanks in advance

isn't flex pipe welded into exhaust pipes on both ends anyways?

IIRC also on my car the no.1 bracket (or no.2 was it) was actually welded to chassis. not that it's supposed too, it just is, because bracket was torn when local shop was replacing (read cutting old one out and welding new one in) cracked flex pipe some time ago.

Are you saying the nut in the chassis came loose and went somewhere inside the frame? So one of the bolts can't be used to secure the hanger bracket?

on the #2 bracket if your looking at the diagram the bottom hole has a nut but where there was a place for the nut to screw into is a hole now
