How much to Sell the Camry

I want to get rid of my 96 Camry LE and not sure how much to seel it for. The junker qouted $400 which is way too low. Hopefully someone in this forumn can suggest a reasonable price.

The car has 100K and the following
The good:
- 90K mainteance with timing, water pump, suspension changed (front tokico and rear KYB), brembo drilled rotors, stainless steel breake lines all around.
-tinted windows, reverse glow guages, S2000 antenna, CCL trunk lights, 14" alloy wheels, transmission security lock, excellent cloth interior, good tires

The bad:
- hood and front driver side fender damage from a hit & run, other minor body damage
- AC doesn't work
- Car shake at idel

How much should I sell it for, any opion is welcomed, thanks

What I would honestly do is Fix the shake at idle, and try to recharge your AC System.

The way it sits now with the mileage you could safely get $800.00 for it. The body damage is whats going to really hurt you.

Fix the body damage and I could see you getting $1200.00 easily (quick sale). $1500.00 for someone who knows about camrys. $1500.00 is probably all that you will see though for the vehicle.

If you have any pictures, that would probably help gather a good estimate on what you could expect as well. those are just ball-park

I'd consider a part out.. that'll get you more than what you got quoted by the junkyard. Either way, you're not looking at much.. IIRC when I came to see the car, it started up and blue smoke came out of the exhaust.. that's gonna be a quick turnoff to most potential buyers, and it also smelled sorta funky.

Those mods are worth NOTHING when selling the car outside of TN. Remove them if you can.

lol smelled sorta funky eh?? That would be a no go for me. I hate getting into cars that smell weird. Even worse is a stinky car with an air freshener to mask the nasty smell. It now turns into a funky smelling car with a hint of Wintergreen.

Oh . lol . did it continue to burn oil? Or just at the beginning. If just on start up I would think the only problem is Valve Seals are cracked and leaking oil into the cylinders. not a huge deal IMO
