Car running rough/loud...Help

Hey, I just purchased a Toyota Camry 1993, 4 cyl manual.

It starts fine.

During normal driving, once warm. It is loud, runs rough and vibrates at around 1800 - 2500rpm. Other than this it isnt to bad.

I have noticed if warm with the gear in neutral, when I slowly raise the revs up, it gets to 2000rpm and then the revs erratically jump up and down. I noticed it doesn't do this if cold.

The guy gave me an invoice of some recent work. Details below:

I should have got it checked by a mechanic.

Anyone know whats happening?

Feb 2011
-Check engine, running rough
-Clean throttle body and adjust throttle position sensor. Clean up map sensor.
-Adjust and clean Idle control sensor and replace fuel injection water temperture sensor.
-Change oil + Filter + engine treatment

-Remove and reinstall head cylinder. Replace rod bearing set & cylinder set. replace all gaskets. Clean EGR valve.
Parts: Full gasket set, Piston ring set, Rod bearing set, spark plugs, ignition wire set, air take hose, machine head cylinder 16 valves. Replace fuel injector
