Factory Alarm Does Not Turn Off

Hey guys, I got home about an hour ago parked my car in the garage and all of a sudden hell broke loose. Out of nowhere my car alarm went off. I pressed the unlock/lock/panic buttons, and it did not turn off. Then I started the car, It still didnt turn off. Seeing that it did not turn off, I disconnected and reconnected the battery and that did not work. Does anyone have any clue what could have happened and why it does not turn off.

Here's a past thread that includes a recommendation to check the door triggers. I'd highly recommend using the forum's search feature to find other threads regarding alarms that won't shut off since this has been covered in a number of past threads. Good luck!

Same thing happened to me two weeks ago. If you check, your dash clock won't be working either. You have to replace the fuse for the clock/dome light. Mine was burnt and when I replaced it, the clock was back on and the alarm started to work. I don't remember the fuse, but check the manual. Hope that solves the problem.
