Fixing Yellow Headlights

My headlights are yellowing and just wondering if any of you have had success with the Headlight Restroation Kit.

It sells for about $20.

Not sure how much a shop chargers if I take it in and have them do it.

Thoughts?

Just need a decent power drill and patience. They work like they should.

Toothpaste and a soft cloth works just as well as any on-the-selves product.

^ That's the lazy way and those headlights will turn yellow quicker within a year.

I bought a headlight restoration kit at Walmart made by turtle wax that came with 3 different sanding blocks, a polishing compound, and a clear-coat sealant wipe thing. Worked decent, but my headlights were so bad that nothing will completely un-yellow 'em. So I'll get some depo's.

I agree with vicentfox switch them out its well worth it and easy to do( i believe two 10mm bolts and a few clips to deal with). In my opinion they look 10 times better than any restoring product ive tried in the past.

Keep in mine you will need a phillips screwdriver to reallign the headlights.

I bought a 20 dollar kit, I think it is 3M, and I have restored the yellowing headlights on 4 different vehicles. So far the oldest application of mine is 1 year old and it still looks clear. The set is about 4 velcro type sand paper discs, a wheel for the drill, a buffing disc, some type of buffing compound, and clear directions. The system works great I will buy another when mine is shot. Thats right 20 dollars for 4 restorations.
