Any Alternative Differential ratios available?

I did a thread search on this, and nothing... Maybe this is a silly question, but are there any aftermarket or OE diferential replacements for these cars with an auto or manual transmission with different ratios? This is a bit of an old school hot rod trick, but my old Celica benefited quite a bit in acceleration from a 3.73-1 to a 4.10-1, in low speed acelleration, and I really didn't miss the 10mph drop in top speed that much.

I'm sure with enough inventiveness, you could change the gear ratios, but I don't know of an easy way to do it. Actually if you really want to give your car a boost, do a 5 speed swap.

I assume you have the V6 model.

The SE models have a lower final drive ratio. Can't recall the ratio, but I remember reading it in the old reviews in car mags.

At first, I thought it was just on the 5-speed manual, but it looks like the automatic models have a different ratio also as the part # are different as you can see.

If you're interested, there's a Motorweek 1993 Camry SE review on youtube. Around 2:43, it mentions that the SE models have a different final drive ratio.

Having said that, there's not really an economical way to change your diff on any FWD car :-(

If you're gonna do this much work, I would do a 5-speed swap also.
