Get it from any auto dept store. Its only a piece of rubber and cost a few bucks. If you feel insecure about it, get it from the dealership.

Remember to mark the position of the dist and to put the dist the way it was before. You don't wanna mess with your timing.

But deeper inside there must be some rotary seal on cam shaft (and this can be source of leak).
O-rings are not able to seal rotating elements.

What we are talking about is a leak of oil from the engine through the surroundings of the dist. That o-ring is there to prevent the oil seepage. This occurs after a while on these cars.

Yup, its just a little rubber ring. Just did it myself on my 3VZ, V-6 in about 1/2hr.(harder on V-6 cause of more stuff to get out of the way) Big oil leak actually. It just gets hard and shrinks with age. Distributor pops out with slotted key, O-ring will be right in front of you. Helps to pop the cap off first, to get the wires out of the way and mark the rotors position.

Agreed one of the things of maintenance that I had to do on my own car as well as the PO didnt seem to really maintain nothing on the car at all besides the oil thank god.

Its an easy job and as someone else stated the Oring isnt so much an expense either.

Also might want to check inside the distributor as well, mine did get a bit of oil inside that I had to clean out
