Need help replacing my radio

I just purchased a new radio today. However, upon taking out my old one I notice it has something attached to it that the new radio does not have. I have attached pictures below, can anyone explain?

I also notice the new radio has 1 black wire in the group of wires that has a metal piece attached to the end of it. I'm wondering what is that for because my old radio does not have that.

When I disconnected my old radio, the 2 connections that are on that one was plugged into 2 connections inside the dash compartment.

The new radio is the one attached to the kit and the old one is the one I pulled out.

K I really don't know what you are talking about.

After reading it a few times, the 1 black wire with the metal piece coming out of it attaches to the antenna connector. The female end should be behind there. If your old radio was an aftermarket, it may have been removed or is still back there. If you google 'car antenna connectors' and look at the images, you'll see what I mean.

Other than that, I can't make head or tails of the rest. You may have an amplifier underneath your passenger seat? You may want to check that out.

Look at the photo again. Both radios are aftermarket Sony radios. The new one is the Black one the old one is the grey one. The grey one has 2 wires with 2 plugs at the end that connect to 2 plugs inside the dashboard. My new radio does not have that...so Im trying to figure out how do I connect it if my new radio does not have that.

Also, the old radio does not have the Black wire with the metal piece attached to it.

Don't know if this helps but Gen 3 Camrys without amplifier (usu. LE) connect with two blue multi-wire connectors and one black antenna wire.

Gen 3 Camrys with amplifier (usu. XLE) connect with one white multi-wire connector, the black antenna wire and the smaller black amp wire.

Check Crutchfield.com if you have aftermarket unit questions...

Black wire on the new radio should be the ground.

On the one radio, that looks like RCA outputs or for a CD changer.

OK, I went up to Best Buy and those 2 wires that are missing are actually for sub-woofers. So basically instead of connecting it to those wires, the new radio connects the subs to 2 middle ports.

The sound quality of Sony and Toyota stock speakers is Ah-mazing...
