Ok so Ive been contemplating going with a different paint scheme since last fall. The bottom of the kit has been black since installed and I just don't care for it any more. Ive got a couple of things Ive been contemplating doing with it. Let me know what you think. Here's some pictures for reference. Keep in mind I have a new CF hood and trunk coming sometime soon. I also intend on putting the american racing wheels back on after painting them a dark Bronze.
1. leave it alone
2. if you paint it white, leave the CF and paint the rims gold
3. if you paint it white and two tone, match the wheels to the top color (gloss black top = glass black wheels).
I vote for painting the kit white. Two tone looks alright when there are two opposing colours (such as black and silver) but not so much with white and grey. Painting the kit white would make everything flow nicely

I agree with Bigbird, less one thing Id go a bright bronze on the wheels over gold. Thats my opinion, but like he says if you do go the two tone route, which I think would look nice as well, defnitely go with black on the center section of your rims, leaving the polished lip.
I like the idea of bronzing the wheels. Colour matching the lower kit will make it pop much more visually, as I think the black conceals its real visual appeal against the white body. That would leave the question of your carbon fiber hood and trunk deck... I kind of assume you want to show those off as a special feature on the car. If so.. Personally I think they would look "classier" if they were painted to match the rest of the car too. So I'd go all white, dk bronze wheels, and maybe some subtle striping or pinstriping matching the wheels.

i vote white kit, black above body line and a thin dark bronze pin stripe.
YES YES YES YES. But with the AR wheels in bronze.

Yes for sure the AR wheels. I think Ill just color match the kit at first and go from there. Probably once I get tired of the white Ill think about changing it up again. Really wanna see what it all looks like with all the CF stuff Ive got coming. I think itll really pop with all the white.
Its dropped on eibachs/tokicos. Ill be doing something drastically different with the suspension setup in the not so didstant future anyhow. Aaand Why on earth would I paint a CF hood white. Kinda defeats the purpose. I may consider something like that in the future when the next CF hood starts to haze. For now Im keeping the hood as is. Remember Ill have a trunk to match as soon as ED gets on their s***!
