Check NGK's online catalog. You can use NGK Iridium-IX without problems. These plugs should last about 80-90K miles before the gap reaches .051. But I'd change them at 60K miles. There is no need to stick with the 2-ground plugs. If you insist on getting a single round plat, I'd go with the G-Power. It has the thin center electrode similar to the Iridium-IX. But go with Iridium.

I did irdium densos but one of the plugs went early on me and I replaced them with the ngk g-powers but any denso or ngk products should work just fine.

OEM plugs (2 side electrodes) are either Denso Double Platinum or NGK Laser Platinum.
NGK Iridium-IX are working fine too on those 4cyl models, but they will not last as long as OEM plugs (that can do 100-120k miles), usually 60k miles is too much for Iridium-IX on waste spark system.
not a problem to replace them on 4 cyl model though, V6 is another story

NGK Laser Iridium. Best by far!!! Find them at Rockauto.com for the best price with cheap shipping. They are listed under "NGK Premium Iridium" plugs so don't get confused when you look for them. I shopped around the web for a LONG time to find these at the best price.
Good luck!

Some have trouble removing the coils in the rear bank with non-waste spark systems. Others don't seem to have a problem. Dunno.

amazing. many people had so much trouble with them. can you list the tools (which extensions and u-joints exactly) used please?

I'd rather have them handy then work it out when the time comes

I think it was 6" extension, than one u-joint, another extension 6" or greater then attach the ratchet.

First insert the 6" extension with the spark plug socket, attach u-joint, next extension, and then ratchet.

Make sure you have a good spark plug socket.

Cylinder 2 and 4 I did from the passenger side and did 6 on the driver side.
