I had 110k on my car when I changed mine, i used the moogs. The original bushings were not bad at all, really. they seem to be quiet.

I have Moog rear sway bushings on my V6 and they are awesome. very easy to install, no need for any greasy (poly-u need it) and they totally keep the rear sway bar quieted down to zero... and the set costs only $8 in Advance Auto parts after a rebate ($5 off $15 if you take some thing else to meet the $15 total before coupon).

still debating when to do the front ones. the bolts by firewall are a real pain in the ass to remove/install.

I don't know how different your solara is from my camry. The "proper" method for the front SB bushings is to disconnect the tie-rods and get them out of the way. I found that if I didn't disconnect the tierods from the wheel hubs, I could still get to my bushing by turning the steering wheel all the way to one side and then to the other. Hope that helps.

P.S.: Moog suspension is generally good stuff.

well, the ones on the tie rod end side are not a big problem for me, seems I could access them with socket and extension.
the ones by firewall are a problem as no socket fits them, there is barely space to insert a combo wrench over there... very annoying...

thanks for the tips on accessing the other ones (turning wheels), it would make it easier for those probably.
