V6 p0141

My 94 Camry V6 is showing the code P0141 when I plug in an OBDII reader. The check engine light is on and everytime I clear/reset it, the same code returns. Last time I did an emissions test I had high HC and CO levels and barely passed it. At that time I had no check engine light on. But I did change the cat converter but I still had high HC and CO levels. I'm assuming this is from the bad O2 sensor because of the code I have now. I read on other posts that some people replaced the faulty o2 sensor but still had the same problem (check engine light). Hopefully this doesn't happen when I change mine. Also, I have bad gas mileage and can only drive less than 150km's on a half tank of gas. Otherwise, the car runs great and smoothly.

1) Is this the O2 sensor after the cat? Can someone tell me the exact location of it and how it is changed?

2) Can you post the average km's you guys get on a full tank of gas when everything is working efficiently? The V6 engines are powerful and bigger and use more gas than the 4 cylinders, but I think it should be more efficient in gas consumption than what I have now.

replace the downstream/rear (post cat) o2 sensor under car.

P0141 Heated Oxygen Sensor Circuit - Bank 1 Sensor 2.

Go either with Denso 234-4623 or NGK 24579.

Sensor 2 means it's the one downstream from the cat. I think the driver's seat has to be removed to access it. Ah, here's a DIY for a 4 cyl, I suspect the V6 is similar.

yup, under driver seat. DIY works for both 4cyl and V6, sensor location is same.
