92 Toyota Camry 5 speed 2.2L

Hi all names Aaron,
Im new here and hopefully someone will be able to help me out wit some car issues Im having with my toyota.

I took my car to my local mechanic shop have them do a diagnostic test to my car and they was not able to find nothing wrong with my car. It would not act up for the mechanic but always acts up on me. He checked the computer no stored codes. Check engine light is not on while running or anything. The problem is quite hard to explain in words. Ill try my best to give as much information.

When driving sometimes my car will start to spit and sputter like gas flow is being restricted at times making my car jump upon acceleration. Tends to act of more as Im driving longer. Or when gving accessive acceleration. I tried changing spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter nothin seem to work. When I took the old ones out they where all white. Car running lean correct? Any ideas? The car currently has 208000 miles on it runs great at times and other times not so great

Need any further information I will be glad to try and explain it better.

Thanks
Aaron

Hopefully someone will be able to assist me with this problem cause my mechanic can't do it.

How would you test a fuel pump? Is the fuel pump under the back seat like a 95 corolla

No codes? Thats surprising even on obd1. It must happen fairly rarely, and under only certain conditions in most of your driving cycles to NOT trigger a code. Generally, that kind of thing will definitely show itself, under OBD1. It sounds as though it may be heat, or engine demand related. Fuel pump is a good place to start. After that check or replace the main ignition coil or igniter.

No luck. I took to some place to check it out and they couldn't figure it out. I everyone suggestions and still nothing fixed. The car now has 215000 miles on it. You think maybe it could be timing belt out of time or maybe even a blow head gasket would cause the car to run like this. She is a trooper though. Also I may have forgot to mention that the motor runs very very hot. Temp gusts reads normal though. I did change the whole thermostat. Anything
