Front end too much vibration

The front end of my car has been vibrating too much when i'm in a stop light and the brake is pressed, it happens also if the car is in park mode (The hard vibrations go away when in neutral). New motor mounts installed last week, the vibration didn't go away. One thing that I have noticed is that the rpm's when its vibrating are at a little over 6k, and before the vibration a year ago use to be at 8k. When I drive down hill in nuetral the rpm's are at 9k and the car feels great, I need new front shocks but don't know if that will help.

How do you get the rpms to 9k? I think my gauge only goes to 7 lol

Sorry wat I meant was in the hundreds. So instead of 9k it was 900 right under the 1k
