94 Camry LE vs XLE

Could anyone explain the difference between LE and XLE for 94 Camry's. My V6 is a fully loaded LE with all the options including leather, but is there a difference when compaired to an XLE?

I also noticed that some Camry's have a wooden panel trim except mine doesn't. Was that an option or standard?

I had to do the same LE vs XLE exercise for my 2001 Camry V6, and Intellichoice.com used to have full factory lists of standard equipment, options, packages, factory ordering codes, and invoice vs MSRP pricing for each one. Unfortunately they've changed their website and you can no longer access that detailed information. Lucky for me I saved the info.

This isn't quite as detailed as intellichoice used to be, but you might try this:
http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/sp...d=7362#trimsel

It's more detailed that most, but not as detailed or well-organized as intellichoice used to be. You change the model/engine via drop down menu and you'll have to compare across a couple tabs for interior, exterior, etc, but it should hopefully help you answer you question even though it will take a bit of work.

Spoilers were optional for the XLE. Some years had the bush button HVAC, as said. Some yerard had lighted rings around the door key holes, and dimming dome lights.

I am the original owner of a 94 XLE. Most of the additions were on the inside. On the outside the only noticable additions were the alloy wheels, sunroof and XLE badge. ABS brakes were still an option (at $1100), as was the leather interior. XLE interiors were an upgraded velour. You also got a 7-way adjustable power driver's seat and the push button climate control, although it was not an automatic climate control system that came on later cars. The audio system was an upgraded 4 speaker radio/cassette player although most car came with the 6 speaker system, still an optional upgrade on the XLE models. I'm sure there were other upgrades, but that's about all I remember at the moment.
