Australia 5SFE Rod Bolt Removal

Help Please

Having to rebuild a 5SFE in my 96 Camry. In trying to torque up the original rod bolts I found that a couple of them wouldn't take the specified torque so I decided I would replace all of them just to be safe. I can't get the existing ones out of the rods. I've tried to gently tap one of them out but no joy. I've also tried being a bit more than gentle. Tried a bit of heat, tried a bit of cold but still no joy. Is there any trick to this? Do they need to be pressed out?

Appreciate any assistance out there.

Cheers
