96 camry windshield wiper fluid tank not holding water

I have a 96 camry and the windshield wiper fluid tank does not hold water. Every time i add water, it just leaks it all to the bottom like a drain plug is missing. Anyone know or have any idea what is wrong? I plan on taking a look at it on Monday at school.

There is a small hose on the bottom of the washer tank, attached to the pump. (You have to remove/loosen the plastic splash shields on the corner that the tank is located to see it.) It probably came off.

Mine did on my 96. The first time I just put back where it belonged, pleased that it was an ez fix and not a hole, but it came off again a couple of days later.

The second time I removed the little hose and took to NAPA and bought a fluid resistant replacement piece for 70 cents. Hasn't leaked a drop since.

Good Luck! Hopefully yours will be as cheap and ez to fix as mine was.

ok, I opened the plastic covers on the bottom and around the right front tire area. I saw that the hose that connects to the reservoir has been eaten up. Since the hose was long, I cut the broken areas, got a new hose and got a vacuum tee to join the 2 hose together. I added water to the reservoir and it holds. I turned on the car and the right side was shooting out water, but not the left. I went to the junk yard to get a new shooting thing for the left side, and both sides was shooting out, but it shoots out very weak. It barely shoots over the wipers and barely gets to the front windshield. What can be causing this problem?

Your redesign may have something to do with it Try the connection with one piece of tubing
