Gen 4.5 Headlight Bracket

Hello all, I have searched the forums but did not find what I was looking for.

Basically what happened is I broke the 2 top mounting brackets of my friend's 2000 Camry. The headlight is still OK but it is not secure.

I am looking for these top 2 brackets now and was wondering if the brackets from a Gen 4 will fit with no problem. I sold my 1997 a couple of months ago and cannot compare it to his car now.

Thanks in advance.

I broke my headlamp bracket a few months ago too and went out the junk yard and pull new ones it off a broken headlamp. Only the gen 4.5 will work; the gen 4 bracket is different due to the radiator support and the 9003 blub it uses. You can always JB weld it or get a new unit online if the lamp is too foggy anyway.

Thanks Yuko. That's what I thought. I'll try to find it somewhere. The headlights are only 1 year old and still look like new.

Thanks Lynch. I know off car-part.com but they sell the entire headlight assembly. I'll keep looking anyways.
