1997 camry 4 cyl auto transmission noise in reverse

Hello, Just bought my first Toyota. It is a 1997 Camry 4 cyl auto with 149,00 miles on it. Besides all the engine seals leaking, it has this loud noise when I select reverse and give it gas. It is not the engine mounts. It is not going into "park". It will not do it in any forward gear. It will not do it in idle in reverse. The sound is like a fan hitting a shroud and it varys with engine speed. I heard this a little bit when I bought it and thought it was just a heat shield or something. I have just replaced all the seals and belts and water pump etc. I saw a psot on here dated 2008 where the guy had a video of his car making the same exact sound but never saw any solution. Anyone know what this is? Thanks Stephen

Could be the transmission plate that covers the torque converter hitting against the torque converter. Your differential bearings could be going bad causing your differential to shift when in reverse and Skip gears (Making a sound similar to a fan hitting the shroud).
