Anybody running the infamous 95 Mazda Millenia wheel on their 3rd gen Camry.

I've searched around but haven't came up with much.

I've read the the 95-96 Mazda Millenia 9 spoke aluminum wheels come in a 15" /5x114 bolt pattern. I've seen that lots of Honda guys and Nissan guys use them for Autocross and that they're less than 12 lbs each.

I would drop the hammer on a set for sure if I knew they would bolt up to my 93 XLE V6. That kind of wt savings would free up some additional power and add to my gas milage as well.

Anybody able to confirm if these wheels will fit correctly with a stock size 15" Gen 3 camry tire?

I'd love to see pics if you have them mounted up on your Gen3.

Thanks,
Roach

Mine ended up weighing between 12.4 and 12.6 lbs each but the ~5 lbs per wheel weight savings over stocker 14" steelies should ne noticeable while driving the car. Expect slightly better braking, handling, and acceleration. These will bolt right up and (I think) look pretty good on the car. Keeps an OEM appearance while enhancing performance - which is my cup of tea!

I've since added the center caps and still plan on adding the Toyota Logo on all caps. If I could find a logo smaller than 1.5" diameter X 4 I would be in business

Those look pretty good! I may have to invest in a set for winter wheels...

Those do look nice! FWIW, ~20lbs off of the wheels is equivalent to about 25+lbs off of the car.

I have to admit it to those look great and would definitely be a good choice for winter nicety withouth sacrificing good wheels and as said, 20lbs of unsprung weight off the car is always a good thing.

+1

Then it's settled. I'll be aquiring a set of these as soon as I can locate a good deal on a set. Some people are asking (and getting) a premium price for them but I've seen other deals that were really good as well.

Anybody have a good lead on a set that are priced to sell? Or even just a couple for now. I'm in no hurry at all so I can even purchase one or 2 at a time if need be the case.

Thanks all,

Roach

car-part.com junk yard search engine good place to start

hummm not bad weight savings it would be about 10lbs lighter at each wheel vs my 07 se rims (they weigh about 23lbs each)

I got lucky and found mine on Ebay for under $150 shipped - have looked on there recently and a few jokers want to sell you an individual rim for around $100 each plus shipping Then the center caps will run you $50 shipped - they're new but still expensive. If you decide to go the parts yard route - search high and low for the stupid little key you will need to get that last lug nut off. Vise grips won't work and even the aftermarket keyed nut remover from OReilly's won;t work either.

Found 3 out of 4 in a local yard but they all had the locking lugnut preventing me from getting them. Guess Mazda made a pretty good part there

May have some luck with Craigslist but these rims are kinda getting hard to find IIRC they were OEM for 1995-1996 only but you will be glad you got them! Good luck

Thanks for that link. I was quickly able to track down a lead for 2 located just a few miles from where I work. I'll be checking them out come Monday.

Local yard said they had 2 of them but when I arrived to inspect them they were some type of aftermarket wheel that I didn't recognize.

Still looking.

Just got a lead on a couple of more local yards. One sounds promising but you just never know until you actually lay your eyes on them I found out pretty quick. The last yard told me they had 2 but when I showed up of course they were not what I was looking for.

Next lead: Yard says they have 5 w/o center caps. Quoted me $200 for a set of 4 and expressed an interest in maybe giving me a little something for my wheels as well. We'll see how that goes tomorrow.

A second local yard wasn't willing to come down on their price at all and wanted my wheels in return... Crazzzy... Wanted a higher price and my wheels for deposit. Wouldn't barter even after I informed them I already had better offers........ No deal!

I know how you feel - a lot of parts yard owners are smartasses when it comes to model-specific parts especially rims. Keep looking though - If you want I can look down here in my neck of the woods - it took just a little looking to find about 7 or 8 individual rims spread out through 4 local yards...

I swear some stuff is REALLY EASY to find down here since there are not many people who mod their cars in this city - I kinda feel like a fish out of water! Just let me know...

Thanks brother,

Good news here. I followed up with my most current leads on a couple of the local yards and closed a deal this morning. The guy quoted me $200 for 4 wheels just like I mentioned. Well he had 5 of them on hand that were all in comparible shape to one another. I bartered with him and agreed to purchase all 5 @ $40 each so got a complete set of 4 plus a spare for $213.xx out the door. I'll examine them closer after I clean them up but for now after the brief initial inspection prior to loading them into the van I'd rate them maybe an 8 or 9 maybe out of 10. We'll know more after I get them all cleaned up and inspect them better but I'm fairly happy with the simple fact that I was able to get ahold of them for the price that I did.

Funny thing is that I was avoiding this particular Yard because they are traditionally a yard that tends to charge premium prices yet they not only had exactly what I was looking for but also ended up offering me the best price of anywhere I had requested a price quote. Now it would be just too sweet if my Toyota center caps just happended to snap right in to these wheels.

Time for a good cleaning and spit polish.
Thanks to everybody for their help. I think I'm going to drive by the local wash after work tonight and spray them down with wheel cleaner /degreaser and hopefully be able to have them mounted tomorrow. Now I just need to get my best deal on getting them balanced and mounted. Come to think of it...I'll wait till Friday most likely to get them mounted. Out of curiousity I'm going to try and get some accurate weights on them in the mean while prior to mounting tires on to them.

Roach
