Securikey - what's the green button for?

I bought a 1997 Camry for my son today & it has the Securikey+ system installed. Can someone tell me what the green button is supposed to be used for? Also, if the car has a remote trunk release, how would I access it (I know on some cars you hold a button or a combination of buttons for some time)?

Optional trunk release, button can be configured for panic as well. Requires additional release solenoid, which is NLA. Have the whole enchilada programming guide if you want it. PM for info. Factory config is set so if you hold the green button down, turns on low beams for 30 sec duration. Securikey was only used on Toyotas coming through Gulf States Toyota, Houston port of entry, esp. Cammies, as back then they were prone to being stolen. System manufactured by Audiovox.
