Tail lights not working

I have a 1998 toyota camry and my tail lights and lis plate lights and front side maker lights won't work but when I go to turn they work and brakelights and headlights work and all the lights inside work. I put a light tester to it and no power to the tail lights, I checked all the bulbs and fuses onder the hood but cant seem to find one under the drivers side and I read something about a yellow box? does my model even have that? and a tail light fuse but i cant find any under the dash

UPDATE

I found the fuse box and the 10 amp for the tail lights was shot but as soon as I replaced it...It burnet again whats wrong? maybe this yellow box being bad is blowing the fuse?

Check the loom of wires inside the trunk by the driver's side trunk hinge. Those wires have a tendancy to frey and break over the years from all the flexing they are exposed to. Open up that loom and check for freyed or broken wires. Chances are there are a couple of wires that are broken or freyed and are touching each other. Fix what you find.

May want to check all the wires again. Headlights, corners, tailights.etc.
Its just that the same thing happen to me with my gen3. One of my corner lights was touching another wire(my fault for leaving it there). It burn the fuse and my lights weren't working. I replaced the fuse, removed the wire it was interfering with and never had problems.

Sorry i cant help much. I dont know much of the other gens besides the one i have but good luck!
