a/c not working-no power,.. 10a fuse is good.. really need help!!

My a/c seems to have no power. The light does not come on the switch when engaged. Checked the 10amp fuse in passenger side kick panel and it was good. I really need help here guys!!
I'm in between surgeries on my leg due to an accident at work and money is seriously tight right now.
I need some help figuring this out so I can fix it myself. Does anyone have any ideas where or what to check?? I searched the forums and cannot find anything.
PLEASE HELP!!!!

there is also a relay for the compressor. Depending on what year you have you might also be able to get into a diagnostics mode through the climate control module, I'm not too sure on a camry.

I just bought the car last month with 104k. I honestly didn't check to see if it was working since it was so chilly at the time. The car was extremely well kept and the previous owner was more than upfront about what the car needed (rear brakes/gas filler tube) but nothing was mentioned about the a/c. So I'm assuming that it worked OK last season. The car truly is in fantastic shape so abuse was never a factor.

The compressor does not start when the switch is pressed. I'm hoping that someone has had this problem before and can share some insight into a repair.

My fingers are crossed!!!!!! Money is real tight since my accident and I'm hoping to fix this on my own with some help from my brother in law since I'm a bit disabled right now.

well, like i said, the compressor is not going to come on if the pressure switch is telling the ac amp theres no pressure in the system. i suppose at the very least you can buy one of those cans of refrigerant with a gauge built in at the auto parts store to see if theres anything in the lines.

I guess thats a good starting off point. Thank you.
Could you tell me where the relay is for the a/c if it is necessary?

Look at this : A/C light blinking

The a/c indicator was blinking to indicate no power to a/c clutch. It is usually in the engine compartment fuse block, look behind the battery for 4gen camrys. I tested with replacing relay with a known good relay.

The aluminum can in front of the rad has a sight glass, and an electrical connector that you can jump to see if the a/c clutch is bad or the relay.
