I would get cheap Quick Struts from rockauto.com, they are like $125/each for front, very easy to install.

Monroe is running a Buy-3-Get-1-Free promotion through the end of the month. So you might want to take advantage of that. Rockauto has pretty good prices on the QuickStruts.

I'd recommend that you get QuickStruts to avoid problems with other aging components. Besides these carry lifetime warranty too.

I put a pair of the Quick Struts on the front of my '97 and they were easy to do and are working perfectly. I recommend them.

just to make it clear, I have a pair of Monroe QuickStruts in front of both Solaras (in my sig) and they feel pretty much same as factory setup to me, maybe a tad harsh at first but they do mellow in over time. don't let the low price scare you away on this one

rockauto.com beats all other sellers on QuickStruts

I bought one for a damaged one (from an accident she had) for my daughter's 93 Camry from here..
http://www.discountbodyparts.com/cat...dbpid=shopping

$45 shipped.. wasn't bad.. factory replacement..

but, if you want new rubber mounts and new boots, buy those seperate as the shock didn't come with those..

on my 1989 Corolly about 10 years ago, I bought a set of 4 Gabriels at Autozone and they are much stiffer...

you will need toget a loaner spring compressor and hospefully you have a vice to hold the strut.. to work on it..

struts for pretty much any car cheap

I found a website a couple of weeks ago www.primechoiceautoparts.com. I have a 99 Camry and bought a complete assembly both the driver and passenger front for $85 each. NO TAX and NO shipping. My mechanic charged me $60 for the entire installation and it took him about an hour. Honestly, I can not tell the difference, the feel is awesome, and the shipping was super fast.
