Windows, doors, and switches questions

Hey all, So the driver's door handle broke on my 96, and I decided to replace it. Taking the cover/trim off the door panel was easy, but I decided while I have it open to fix a few other things, and I'm hoping you guys can help me with the fix.

1) The power UNLOCK switch on the drivers side doesn't work, I took the PWSM out, but I don't REALLY want to dismantle it, unless I'm sure the problem is localized there. Can the problem be anywhere else?

2) Same thing for passenger LOCK switch. I have to say since one works for one and one works for the other it seems to be localized, and not systemic.

3) Neither the master switch nor the door switch work for the left rear passenger window, and I don't hear power going through, when I took the panel off I found the protective film had peeled off the adhesive and quite a bit of dirt had accumulated, which I assume is the reason it failed. However, I'm not sure WHAT failed, as I can't see any obvious corrosion/wear.

4) How to you unclip the small plastic clips from the metallic linkage on the door handle? It's in there pretty securely and I can't force it out with my fingers/small screwdrivers.

5) What type of adhesive is used to glue the film onto the metal? I find that stuff quite remarkable, still tacky and flexible after 15 years. If I can I might just reapply the adhesive since bits of it have moved out of place.

6) Same thing for the foam tape, will just any old 3M foam tape do, or is there something specific I should look at?

I know it's a lot of questions, But i figure while I'm in there I might as well fix a few things. Thanks a lot for any help!
