Completely Replacing Instrument Cluster on '00 Camry LE?

so I have a 2000 Camry LE and it looks like the socket for one of my dash lights is dead, because I've tried changing around bulbs, using LEDs and so on and I still can't get light at the engine temp and fuel gauge side.

anyways, is there a way to fix this one socket (the one furthest to the left (where the temp and fuel gauge are)) or should I replace the cluster entirely? it kinda bugs me.

also, if I replace the cluster, do I need to get a new one just like the model/type I had on eBay Motors or whatever? I'm looking at eBay Motors and the auctions are saying things like "unknown mileage" so do i also need one that matches my old one's mileage or what?

alternately, it'd probably be a lot cheaper to figure out how to fix this socket, thoughts?

You may have to solder a piece of wire on the circuit board or something to fix it.
Do you have a 9 volt battery that you can hook up and then use a test lamp or something. That is what I would try.
