trunk leaking and lights fogging?

For as long as i remember the trunk has been leaking everytime it rains or goes thru the carwash when you open it (video link)

has any1 had this problem an fixed it? any help will be appreciated

iirc the license plate section of the car was rusted out on my DX 5spd.. (the whole section where the reverse lights are ... behind it) I would pull that off and check the condition of everything.

If thats not it, I would inspect the trunk Seal for Rips, crimps, or tears as this would also allow water to flow past.

there is a length of weatherstripping above/on the rear panel (part that says camry) its a dealer item but it will fix that leak.
