Found water in the well where the jack is.

I was going thru my trunk and notice that the carpet was wet on the passenger side. I lift the carpet and there is the wood board that covers the well where the jack is snapped in.
The whole well is full of water, I notice there is a rubber tube that I think goes to the antenna and I pulled the tube and half of the water came out from underneath the car.

Does anybuddy know whats happening here? Is it the water draining from the antenna maybe? Is it a common problem? (its a 93 6cyl.)

Check the antenna for cracks, specifically where the base of the mast/tube meets the body of the unit. It rots out there (and other places sometimes) which allows water to enter the trunk. A good way to find out where the leak is coming from is to crawl in the trunk, close the lid and have someone spray down that area with a hose.

Could also be the Trunk seal itself. Do like ^^^^^^ Says and hop into the trunk and have a pal hose it down. If nothing, Have your friend spray behind the bumper (Towards where the jack sits.

Over time, sometimes the Pinch welds and wheel wells will start to rust allowing your tire spray to collect right there.
