2001 camry heater control replacement problem

Hey everyone,

First off, forgive me for my lack of knowledge about cars.

I have a 2001 toyota camry conquest, and recently the hot/cold dial on the heater control box decided not to work. I have found out the problem and just need to replace the whole box, I have found a few on e-bay that all say they fit a 2001 toyota camry like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AC-HE...Q5fAccessories

Now the problem is, all these ones on e-bay look exactly the same as mine from the front, but the back is different. The e-bay ones all seem to have just the single green cable (that the hot/cold dial pulls), but my one has 2 of those cables (and 1 for the recirc/outside air switch), both of which are connected to the hot/cold dial. One of the cables goes to a valve in the engine bay on some hoses that I think has to do with heating, the other goes into the dash and pulls a flap which seems to switch between letting hot or cold air through.

I can't seem to find one exactly the same as my one, they all seem to be from camrys/solaras a few years before, and just have the single green cable. It dosent really seem like I should but would it work fine with just one of those cables connected? Or am I just missing something really obvious here? The car was bought in Australia as well if thats any help.

Any help will be greatly appreciated
