DIY Fuel Injector Cleaning Machine For 99 Camry

Here is a video of my setup for cleaning the fuel injectors from my 99 Camry.

I stole the idea from a guy on Youtube, but had to make a few changes for it to work on my 99 Camry Fuel Injectors.

Awesome DIY. How much does it make a difference to the overall performance and MPGs?

I haven't put the cleaned injectors back in the car yet, so I don't know how much the performance improves, if any.

I'll let you know.

I cleaned the injectors on my '97 Acura EL in a similar fashion... I hooked up compressed air and used an extra injector holder (w/ a fitting on it, and locks the injector in place).. I'd spray throttle body/carb cleaner, and then hook up the injector to a battery and blast air through it.

Made the car from a failing E-test, to passing the E-test with flying colours. Makes a big difference on a high mileage car that only sees slow speed city traffic driving most its life.
