Is it possible to convert a manual window to a power window?

So finally I have found a new Black door to replace the silver door which is driving me crazy on the side of my car (got t-boned last year). I mean, it's a perfect replacement! Black, White pinstripes...except for 1 problem.

It has manual window and I have power windows. But I bought the door anyway. I'm sure I can do it because it has holes where the power window/door wires would normally go and plus i have the outlet from mine.

But it seems like it's going to be a bitch to take all that apart. I got to working on it today outside of my hotel but figured hell I'll just wait til I get home. I basically have to have both doors side by side and strip them to the shell and switch everything over.

Is it doable?

Well, I can't just switch the door panel. The door with the power windows is grey. The door I want is Black, with manual windows. And the interior trim for the Black door is brownish, but I need the panel from the grey door which matches the interior

Luckily T/N has a good write up on it. Not Toyota Nation, the other T/N

There seems to be a harness the is inaccessible because it goes far up in the metal part of the door which you can't take apart.

lol, it does now!

My other door matched the interior but not the outside. The 'new' door matches the outside but not the inside and it had manual windows.

Soooooooooooo, what I did was tear both doors down to a shell and then swap all the connections to the manual door and switched the interior door trim on the Black door. Voila~! Took about 5 hours for a 1st time project.

Only problem is: The new door has factory Black paint that still looks good 15 years later...but mine was probably a Maaco 3 year paint and the difference between the Blacks are quite noticeable in the daytime. But not as obvious as a grey door LOL. I can deal with this.

Tomorrow I have to go look for 2 of the motor part of the window regulators...I'll post pics tomorrow after the wax job...
