Question Corner light/indicator light trick ?

Its a cool trick that I want to do on my car idk if any one here has tried it. But the indicator light will stay on but it will still indicate. Theres a speical way to wire the wires but I cant seem to find an explanation anywhere.

Here are youtube videos that I found that give some incite into what im talking about.

( this video is a bit better )

I really don't know why you would want to do this, but couldn't you just splice the signal wire to your headlamp with a delay on it? Sorry if it doesn't help, I really just wanted to ask why this 'looks' good.

the gen4 turn signal and parking light is in the same bulb. so doing this kinda defeats the purpose ?

unless the gen3 is different...

all u have to do is tap the turn signal wire and connect that to the ground of the side indicator/parking light.

this way the side indicator/parking light still has the original wire to get power when the side indicator/parking light switch is closed and has the ground not connected to ground anymore but the turn signal wire so it also gets flashing power when the turn signal switch is on.

when both lines on the side indicator/parking light has 12v, the side indicator/parking light has no current going through it. that is why when both the turn signal and side indicator/parking light is on, they alternale.

wouldnt you need a bulb with a double filament like our brake lights? then hook up the one thinner filament part of the bulb to a parking light nearby and the thicker to the original connector? this way would allow a dimmer constant light with the parking lights on, but a brighter flashing for the signal.
