Not directly. If I recall, Yamaha helped design the G series heads for the 3S-G(T)E.

yes only the older g-series head were done by yamaha, also if you search the block for the fork you know that it is yamaha tuned

later heads can be tuned by beams or louts.. once again only g series heads

also newer 3s-ge heads were retuned by toyota for the vvt-i systems so they wount have the forks stamped on it

I believe most 5s-fe engines were built in Japan since a majority of Gen 4 camrys were built in Japan. It's pretty rare for me to find one that was made in the US, sadly mines made in the ole' USA. Now Toyotas these days, only the transmissions are made in Japan.

^ Well, I guess they changed that too. Before, it used to be the only Japanese made part in Toyotas made in US.

I don't recall any FE heads from Yamaha... The 2JZ-GTE's head is a Yamaha head FYI, but the 2JZ-GE isn't though.
