Big Thanks!
Here's the story,
I was getting DTCs 12 & 13 and the car would die suddenly after getting warmed up or after driving somewhere it wouldnt start after sitting for a little bit. I would let it sit and it would eventually cool down and start again. The distributor had been replaced within the last 2 years. All connections checked out with the MM. I replaced the coil which had a crack in it and that did not fix the problem. One of the common threads between the 2 codes was the NE- and NE+ resistance. I took my MM with me and waited for the car to die, which didnt take long. Even though the distributor was fairly new it turned out that the Ne- and Ne+ connection from the distributor would crap out when it got hot. New distibutor, no more problems.
The only discrepancy I found was with the primary resistance of the internal coil. I was getting .8 ohms for the old and new one instead of .4 - .5 as stated in the Haynes manual and what I found on forum threads.
Thought I would post my experience to possibly help someone in the future. Thanks again to everyone for all the helpful posts!
