99 Camry - Klanging and Thumping while coasting and braking

The other day I was driving and I noticed a loud thumping sound/vibration that sounded and felt like it was coming from the front passenger side as I would brake. The thumping would slow down as the car would slow. Also, as I sometimes coast and accelerate, there is a lighter sounding "klanging" sound. Like with the thumping, the speed of the noise is dependent on the speed of the car.

Any ideas what could be causing this? It started up out of the blue. The brakes are just as responsive as they were before the problem began. I have been trying to keep driving to a minimum because I won't have time to take it in to a shop until next week.

Thanks!
Jeremy

Do you feel this thumping in the brake pedal and also the steering wheel?

Had a similar problem to yours and it was the wheel bearings starting to go.

Is the noise intermittent ?
