'95 Camry Trailing Arm Question

Hello All,

I have a '95 Camry 4DR DX 2.2L MT. As of recent the passenger side rear end of the car makes a knocking a speeds of 60+ mph. I took apart the rear end of the car and noticed that the trialing arm (the adjustable one closer to the rear of the car) bushing is shot and has a few milimeters of play.

My question is can the bushing in the trailing arm be replaced or do I need to buy a whole new trailing arm?

Could this be the bushing:

Thanks in avance
Dan

Hey Dan,

First off, welcome to the forums!! Glad to have you!!

My first question is, are you referring to the trailing arms, or the lateral control rods? The trailing arms go from front to back, while the later control rods, of which there are 2, go from the outside in?

Both trailing arm bushings are replaceable, there is one on either end. As for the lateral control rods, only the inner bushing can be replaced, the outer one (those closest to the wheel) have a metalic inner collar which has a ball joint of sorts in the center, so it isn't replaceable. Hope it answers your question
