Unhappy Car stuck in park

Greetings:

My 97 Toyota Camry V-4 has been sitting for 4 weeks. I drove it yesterday and then parked it. I started the car later and the car would not move forward or in reverse. I checked all the fluilds and they were good, had oil changed last month and tires rotated, everything looked good. I pulled on emergency brakes to hear the clicks, it seems to work. I pushed the automatic release putton on gear stick and It moves freely, but car is still in park position. Could it be the brakes are locked or the gear shift? Any suggestions?

the problem may be either bad brake switch or bad gear cable.
if the problem is none of those, i see a way to a mechanic.

Still stuck in park

I check all the fuses and all are good. I even tried the overide button on gear shift, no luck. I can't get under the car, rt arm in sling. Next move today is to tow it to the mechanic. Thanks for your help and I'll post something when I find out what caused it.
