4th Generation Question about Monroe Quickstruts Camry 1997

Hi,im about to buy 2 rear Monroe Quickstruts for my 1997 Camry (4 cylinder). The guy at the part store gave me the choice between Sensa-Trac and Econo-Matic Quickstrut assembly. The Econo-Matic is significantly cheaper by about 60$ each.

I know many people here at TN have bought and installed the Sensa-Trac and love them but are the Econo-Matic ones a worthy alternative since they are much cheaper or i should stay far away(maybe somebody bought them and can share his experience are they any good or its garbage)?

By using the search function i learned that they are the same(coil spring and everything) exept for the strut itself.

So what you guys recommend? Thanks for your advice.

Sensa-Trac (or OE Spectrum in new terminology of Monroe catalog) is the OE replacement, same specs.

Econo-Matic may be worse/different.

I don't know much about Economatic, but for what it's worth I installed Sensatrac quickstruts about 6 months ago and have had no problems so far.

yeah, same here, around 3-4 months on front Monroe QuickStruts (SensaTracs) on both cars and they are very good and feel excellent.
