Hey all, I am new to this forum and posted over in the introduction section already.
Anyway, I have a 1996 American made Camry and I am wondering what I could do to tune it up a little in both appearance and performance.
So far:
-Replaced the broken power antenna
-Replaced the front calipers with new black ones
-Painted the old drum brakes on the rear wheels black
-Installed a new head unit and am soon doing the speakrs
-Replaced the passenger side mirror (some idiot hit it off and ran)
-It already had new wheels when I bought it last July
-Bead blasted and painted my header covers?
Here is a pic:
I kind of like how it sits lower to the ground because my suspension is completely shot and has never been replaced. Are there any aftermarket parts that would keep it this way, or will replacing it with OEM even raise it that much?
I am new to working on cars in general and those things I have listed above have been my first endeavors, so bare with me for being ignorant.
I have heard of people getting cold air intakes, are these made for a 96 camry? If so are they expensive?
Thanks,
Nathan
