Canada Tire psi help!

I heard somewhere that the psi to put on the tires should be usually 80-90% of max psi, is this true?

Because I upgraded from 15 to 16 tires and not sure what psi to inflate..

My old tires are 206/65/15 and psi was 30-32 and max psi of tires were 35

My new tires are 215/55/16 and current psi is 36

I'm stuck here, I'm not sure what to put :/

You're fine with your current pressure.

Alright! But is there a certain way to calculate it?
