3rd Generation Front Speaker Install Help (Gen 3)

So I've got a blown front passenger side speaker, and I need help replacing it. Which size is it? I would guess its around 6 in diameter and perfectly round.

Also, I know how to take down the door panel to get to the speakers, I am just unsure of how to put in the new one. If I buy a pair from best buy or whatever will it have the connector piece that I can just plug the new one into, or will I have to do a bunch of soldering? (I am quite good at it so that really wouldn't be a problem)

Is it just a matter of connecting the wires coming from the door to the speaker? Do I just unscrew the screws around the old speaker to remove it?

I searched, but only found a guide on doing the back 6x9s.

Thanks for your help guys! I really appreciate it.

How many wires are there I'd have to make connections with? Should I unplug my battery or is it necessary?

Will the new speakers need a new wiring harness adapter or whatever?

Thanks

Should be two wires.

No need to unplug the battery. Just shut off the head unit.

The new speakers will likely have metal tabs for a quick-connector that may or may not be compatible with the connectors already on the car's speaker wires. So you might have to change the connectors on the wire ends. But probably not.
