4th Generation Quote of replacing front and rear struts

So as of the other day my 97 camry started making a somewhat mettalic rattling noise coming from the front left tire right outside of my drivers window. The rattling is very audible with my head out the window driving over rough roads at moderatly slow speeds. Im guessing that the strut mount for this side has finnaly blew up. Im looking to get all my struts replaced because the suspension is really shoddy and loud at this point with 140k on the odo. I would like to know what people have paid for to get their struts replaced. I would like to do them myself but my house is no place for doing so. I work at sullivan tire and ive seen how much they have charge for a strut job on my car and im looking not to pay that much.

It may be the mount or the strut. Consider getting Monroe QuickStruts for the front. $250 parts. It's more cost effective to get an assembly. Shouldn't take more than 30 minutes if you're mechanically inclined and have the tools.

Monroe will pay $50 for a shop to swap struts (only) out if you're not satisfied (which means the price is probably on the low side). So that's a starting point. You'll need an alignment after that.

So Sullivan Tire won't cut you a deal?
