1996 Camry Front Shock Spring Nut Size?

Ok so this weekend I'm going to replace the front shock mounts on my 1996 camry. I installed new shocks in January and the mounts were fine at the time so I kept the old ones (bonehead move on my part). The mounts started rattling about a month ago.

My question is do I need to get the alignment re-done after replacing the mounts since I'm keeping the same shock?

I searched abunch but couldn't find an answer.

There is no adjustment possible on the shock itself, so in theory your alignment will not change. Last time I had my car aligned I asked the tech about this, he said that there is slight movement in the strut bolts, but it is not enough to put the camber out of spec. In some cars, the strut has oblong holes to allow for adjustment, not on these cars. So you should be fine.

Ok cool, that's what I was thinking. One other random question, What size is the nut on the shock shaft that holds the spring and mount on? It's larger than anything I have so I'm gonna have to go out and buy one
