Rear Strut Recommendation

I need to replace the left front wheel bearing and both rear struts on my 94 Camry 2.2. They didn't pass inspection. I found a great set of instructions for both from this forum. My only question so far is which struts to buy? I'm looking for a stock replacement. I don't need anything fancy. There are too many to choose from. I've seen them from $38 all the way up to $150. I usually buy from rockauto.com or my local Autozone. Affordable and OEM specs are all I need.

everyones going to say Monroe, because they are the best bang for your buck. That's what I would get. They are more expensive than the cheepos, but they last a long time.

KYB is OEM, I think.

Monroe is good as well. I have both on my gen 4 and love them equally. Don't forget the strut mounts!

Agreed, Monroes are decent. I put them on my Camry and like 'em fine.

I also just put a set of KYBs on my Avalon. KYB is the OEM supplier to Toyota, so if you want as close a ride as possible to original, go with them. On my Avy, they were about $10 more each over the Monroes. So not a lot more $.

Monroe OESpectrum now replaces the old "grooved piston rod" SensaTracs. GO OESpectrum from rockauto.com with lifetime warranty.

Before you do price out the complete QuickStrut assemblies with all new parts. It may be faster and cheaper to use QuickStruts.

Monroe QuickStruts FTW!

With RockAuto discount, and the Monroe "buy 4, rebate 1" if that's still going, it's the way to go. Rides good!

4Cyl, I'm about 2 1/2 hours from you. I already ordered my struts. Thanks for the offer though.
