Would a muffler from a 99 Solara fit a 4th gen Camry?

What I do when I have a question like this is to go to any Toyota dealer's on-line parts website or even an aftermarket parts dealer's site and check the part number for the muffler for each car. If they are the same, you have a positive answer to your question.

The part numbers are different but sometimes the parts are the same. The reason I ask is because I am looking for a TRD muffler and the one for the camry is discontinued.

the trd muffler has been discontinued period. the gen4 and solara have the exact same exhaust. only difference is that many of the solaras came with pretty chrome tips. The TRD was 100% universal so a discontinue to one means all. if ya find one new, thats a good find. if it is listed as not discontinued, they made a booboo.
