keyless entry

I just got a camry 1998 modeland the dealer gave me only one key , with remote controls of three buttons, red blackandgreen and said it is because it is keyless entyr.my worry is
1what if the battery runs down how do i enter?
2shouldn't it have a spear key?

you can have a key made very easily. All you need to do is get the VIN and bring the title in to the dealership and tell them you want a key made. If the VIN is not in the system, you need to pull the door panel apart and get the Key code off of the cylinder lock.

As far as the keyless entry, you can purchase spare ones on Ebay.

If the battery dies on the remote, just replace the battery and your good to go!

If the battery on the car dies, use the key given to you to open the door, put a new battery in it, and your good to go!

Re Keyless Entry

Thanks for your reply but I am only concern about the security of the car because the only key I was given does not open the door manualy except through the remote, how secured is the remote keyless entry?.Can't I change the key to a new one that is manual? if yes where and how? Thanks once again
