3rd Generation Tokico with H&R...almost there

So I ordered me a set of Tokicos and H&R's back on June 2nd (ebay) and haven't receved either because of them being backordered in Japan. Well today the H&R guy told me that the springs probably wont get to him until about mid July! I'm not that patient since I've been trying to lower my car since i was 16 . (im going on 21 now hahah)

Does anyone have a set of H&R's they want to sell??? Or know who might have them in stock in the U.S?

I'm still waiting to hear from the tokico guy, he told me that the tsunami in Japan is to blame. If anyone has any idea where else I should order some tokico's please let me know!

B&G is a no go. It sucks. And maybe you should get a refund and just buy a set off ebay that isn't coming from japan

Refund is already in progress. So thats a definite no go for the B&G's...

And so far Ive contaced another H&R seller to see if they have them in stock, just waiting for a response... The thing that sucks is that there is only about 2 H&R sellers on ebay at the moment. I'm thinking about Eibachs but I feel that a 1inch drop isn't enough and Kpsort c/o seem to be too harsh and unreliable

if you have a V6 (not 100% sure if there is a difference) i have a set of H&Rs on tokicos ready to go. and im in elkridge MD...you should have checked the FS section.

EDIT: just checked the website and they have seprate springs listed for the two motors. same part numbers but the V6 ends in a -2 and is a 1.3F instead of the 1.25F for the 4cyl. Im going to try to contact them to figure out if there are different spring rates.

EDIT: Just talked to Ryan at H&R and he says they are the same springs. According to him the onloy difference is the drop height in the front due to the weight of the engine.

Thanks Bird, I'd appreciate you looking into that.. I have the 4cyl slow poke. Apparently H&R is backed up on many orders in Japan. (We met at a car meet last summer..you attached a strut bar for me..lol)

How used are the Tokico's?

So only a few days later and im finally lowered on the tokico's and H&R's. Thanks to Rob (aka BigBird) I scored a great deal on his old setup. I was a little worried about getting used struts but the ride quality is great so far, handles better and not harsh at all. It even looks like i got an even drop!

I'll post some pics tomorrow since today's weather was so crappy in this area. but for now...

On the way to be installed

(at the shop before lowering, still not done with my $50 paint job)

I think they look a little weird without caps as is.. but i was thinking that it might not after being painted black or something. probably just going to keep the caps on but I'd still like opinions on the wheel colors.

I need new rims
