4th Generation Corner lights, Tail lights, and Signal lights don't work properly.

Hello TN!

Well today I got my order of black housings and clear corner lights from Ebay for a 2000 Toyota Camry (Gen 4.5... I believe?) Well when I installed them I noticed everything works the Angel eyes and headlights but the only problem was that my taillights won't turn on unless I step on the brakes. Also for my corner lights I got some LED's and switched out the amber bulbs. They worked fine and I got the cool hypersignal thingy. I noticed that the LED's won't stay on like they usually would like with the amber bulbs. I drove the whole day without the back lights and corner lights working. Then I stopped by a friends house to try and fiddle around with the corner lights where I installed the LED's to see if I put back in the amber bulbs it would finally make the taillights work. I tried pulling it out and I broke one of the LED's (The plastic LED part snapped out of the metal bottom piece). Then I worked on the other side and I pulled it out but when I pulled it out a piece of the copper from the socket of the place where you plug in the LED/Bulb popped out. I then finally got to put the copper piece back in but I had to do some bending of the inside to get it in. So then I noticed my signal lights didn't work after. Neither the left or right worked. I then pressed the emergency signal lights and it clicked ONCE then turned off completely. I then couldn't get it to work anymore.

Complete fail... How can I try to fix this? Please and thank you.

I think, when you change to LED, you must change turn signal flasher relay or add resistor

Do you believe this may have lead to the tail lights not working? Like it shorted or something? I actually like the hyper signal thing how it blinks fast. Now that my signal lights don't work that's not cool ):

Perhaps, because that piece of copper was inside the socket where you plug the bulb/led in where the corner light piece is. When I yanked it out the copper piece flew right off and I tried stuffing it in. Didn't work so I had to bend the copper inside a little bit to squeeze the piece that popped out back in.
