94 camry hesitating and check engine light not working

1994 camry, stall when driving around 40-50mph, when i punch it it stalls and hesitates. Thought it was fuel filter, change it and there was no change, also changed the igniter and put on a used distributor---the old one went out. Plugs and wires are fine. It has a slight hesitation when i first take off, but once up to speed it will start chugging, i let off the gas and it will calm down. I can drive 30 mile or so with out it doing it, but if i try to punch it, it hesitates and acts like it wants to shut down.
The check engine light will not come on. I have unplugged sensors and it will not come on. I changed the computer and i get nothing. The light works when you switch it on, so the bulb is working. Please help!!!

Lol the third gens can be hard to get the cel to light up since it's obd1.

I would try jumping the datalink connector if you think there is a cel. Jump te1 and e1 with a paperclip.

It sounds to me like a fuel pressure, injector or emission system. I would start by getting an in line fuel pressure gauge and test the fuel pressure.

If ur pressure is good I would start checking the injectors for resistance.

If the injectors check out I would go into the sticky theads and check out the iacv cleaning diy articles
