Serpintene pulleys

I had a timing belt replaced last week and started hearing a whining noise when the air was cut on. While looking for the source of the noise I noticed that the 3 pulleys weren't alingned. The bottom pulley on the crank is sticking out 1/2" further than the other 2 pulleys. Shouldn't all 3 be aligned?

Found the problem, the pulley looks like it's 2 pieces pressed together. The pulley indeed moved but the crank bolt was tight. I took a plastic hammer and tapped the pulley back in place, put the belt back on and everything sounded good. I'll order a new pulley and do the repair correctly.
Thanks,
Bert

It could be old age that caused the rubber to disintegrate, or the mechanic could have used a jaw type puller to remove the pulley:

The above photo from a timing belt DIY (http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t109966.html) showed what NOT to use when removing the crank pulley. I'd be interested in jaw marks on the pulley. Now you may or may not need a puller, but you can borrow one (OEM27019) from Autozone's free loaner program that's like the one HF sells:
